Detoxing with Juice – the Healthy Way

When you think of the term detox, what do you think about? The human body is a
marvelously arranged mechanism that helps you to perform your daily tasks, but if it
isn’t being kept at its most efficient levels of operation, it can have some issues that lead
to fatigue, illness, and other unpleasant things. One way to help keep your body healthy
is to help it to detox. This is a process of eliminating toxins from the body by stimulating

What You Need
1 green apple cubed
1 ½ celery stalks
½ cucumber
3 kale leaves
½ lemon (separated into slices)
2cm piece fresh ginger

Cleansing Carrot and Apple

into the actual nutritional content of carrots and apples, you will find that there are health
benefits that you never expected. The pairing of apples and carrots creates a masterful
mixture of antioxidants, and polyphenols, which are said to greatly reduce the
occurrences of cancer in people who ingest them regularly. Carrots boast a massive
amount of vitamin A, B and K while delivering a good amount of potassium.

What You Need
2 small apples cut into cubes
4 ounces of cubed pineapple
1 ½ large carrots
4 cm pieces of ginger (fresh not powder)

Zesty Beet Lemon Juice

In order to really gain the benefit of this amazing detox juice, it’s best if you drink it in the
morning. This means that you’ll get a great nutrient jumpstart early in the day so that
your body can begin breaking down all of the wonderful nutrients in the juice. As this
happens you’ll be getting a great boost of antioxidants, polyphenols and a variety of
trace minerals.

What You Need
2 beets
2 lemons
2 carrots
2 apples (for sweetness)
